Position Overview
The Landscape Crew Leader is responsible for supervising and guiding a team to deliver high-quality landscape maintenance services across an assigned route. This role works closely with the Operations Managers to ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to company quality standards. The Crew Leader oversees daily crew activities, provides training and support, and ensures all work is completed safely and efficiently.
Job Description
✔ Manage and Train daily crew members.
✔ Manage designated route – work closely with Operations Manager to ensure customer satisfaction and Arrimour Group quality standards.
✔ Safely operates landscape equipment such as commercial mowers, weed-eaters, blowers, driving a truck with trailer, skid steers, as well as any other equipment necessary to perform daily tasks.
✔ Duties include but are not limited to: mobile phone timecard entry, daily safety inspection of truck/trailer, safety of crew and client sites, planting annual flowers, digging holes, planting small trees and shrubs, laying sod, basic irrigation head repair/replacement.
✔ Snow and Ice removal.
✔ Three years minimum practical experience with a solid work history in the green or similar industries.
✔ Ability to work in a variety of climate conditions, including snow during the snow season.
✔ Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Responsibilities include operating landscape equipment such as commercial mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other tools safely and efficiently, as well as assisting with installation work like planting trees and shrubs, laying sod, and constructing segmented walls.

We are seeking a CDL Class A Driver/Equipment Mechanic to transport construction equipment and perform maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment and fleet vehicles. Responsibilities include safely securing and delivering equipment (with occasional overnight travel), performing planned maintenance on diesel and gas engines, troubleshooting mechanical and hydraulic issues in the shop and field, assisting crews with equipment servicing, and maintaining organized service records while upholding strong safety and shop standards.

✔ CDL Class-A Driver with manual (stick) endorsement to deliver equipment to jobs sites (occasional overnight travel required)
✔ Properly and safely secure equipment for transport
✔ Perform road and shop repairs of construction equipment

✔ Analyze current operational workflows and identify gaps in execution.
✔ Implement improvements that increase productivity, quality, and accountability.
✔ Standardize processes to reduce cost, eliminate rework, and improve consistency.
Team Leadership and Development
✔ Lead, supervise, and develop field leadership (foremen, crew leaders, operators).
✔ Conduct training, coaching, performance reviews, and corrective action when required.

✔ Support hiring, onboarding, and crew staffing to ensure routes and jobs are properly manned.
Forecasting, Scheduling, and Labor Management

✔ Maintain appropriate inventory levels to meet demand without waste or overstocking.
✔ Coordinate with Fleet leadership to ensure equipment tracking, preventative maintenance, and readiness standards are met.
Safety, Compliance, and Risk Management
✔ Ensure compliance with company safety standards, DOT requirements, and industry regulations.
✔ Lead daily safety execution (for example: Stretch and Flex, gate checks, PPE compliance, equipment inspections).
✔ Identify risks early and implement corrective actions immediately.
✔ Conduct audits and maintain required documentation.
Reporting, KPIs, and Performance Metrics
✔ Track key performance indicators (KPIs) tied to labor, schedule adherence, job profitability, and quality.
✔ Provide daily operational updates to Branch Leadership with clear wins, issues, and solutions.
✔ Use company tools to drive decisions and accountability (for example: Aspire, 90.io, reporting dashboards, job costing).
Customer Satisfaction and Job site Quality
✔ Ensure field execution supports an excellent client experience and consistent quality.
✔ Address operational issues that impact client satisfaction quickly and professionally.
✔ Partner with Account Management to align service expectations, priorities, and communication.
Project Management and Growth Support
✔ Lead or contribute to operational initiatives that improve profitability, capacity, and service reliability.
✔ Coordinate across departments (operations, fleet, admin, sales, account management) to deliver branch goals.
✔ Ensure work is delivered on time, within scope, and within forecast
Collaboration and Communication
✔ Serve as the operational bridge between office and field.
✔ Communicate expectations clearly to crews and hold follow-through accountable.
✔ Collaborate with vendors and partners to optimize execution and responsiveness.
✔ Associate or bachelor’s degree in Landscape Management, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent industry experience considered.
✔ 7+ years of experience in commercial landscaping, construction, snow operations, or similar service industry.
✔ 2–3+ years of leadership experience managing field teams.
✔ Applicator license (pesticide/fertilizer) preferred, as applicable.
✔ Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and operational software; Aspire experience strongly preferred.
✔ Comfortable using mobile tools for field reporting, communication, and app-based workflows.
✔ Ability to perform in a fast-paced, weather-driven environment with changing priorities.
✔ Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
